(TRENTON) – Senator Linda R. Greenstein, Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, and Assemblywoman Tennille R. McCoy (all D-Mercer, Middlesex) issued the following statements regarding the recent deaths of two men killed in a car crash on I-95.
“I’m heartbroken to hear of the passing of two members of our community, Aaron and Joshua Davis,” said Senator Greenstein. “The brothers, who were just 23 and 22, were upstanding young men who were said to be 'true gentlemen' and who were adored by all who knew them. My thoughts are with the Davis family, and it is my hope that we can all support them through this difficult time.”
“I am deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of the two young men from Mercer and Middlesex counties,” said Assemblyman DeAngelo. "My heart goes out to their families, friends, and all who knew them. I pray their families find strength in love and support surrounding them and their memories will be a source of comfort and peace during this unimaginable time. I will keep this family in my prayers.”
“There are no words to express the sorrow I feel for the families who have lost their sons far too soon,” said Assemblywoman McCoy. “Having experienced the loss of my brother at the age of 24, I understand the profound pain that comes with such a tragedy. No parent should ever have to bury their child. I hope that the loved ones of the departed find strength in the community that surrounds them during this difficult time. My thoughts are with them as they navigate this unimaginable grief, and I pray that each day brings them peace in the cherished memories and love they shared as a family.”
