(HAMILTON, NJ) – Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, in partnership with the Hamilton Township Public Library, will host a “Sole to Soul: Community Sock Drive” to help residents in need stay warm this season. The drive will collect new socks from November 3 through November 17, with donations supporting local shelters and community organizations.
“With the weather cooling and the holiday season just weeks away, we’re reminded that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference,” said Assemblyman DeAngelo (D-Mercer, Middlesex). “Something as simple as a new pair of socks can help bring warmth and dignity to those experiencing hardship. I’m proud to partner with the Hamilton Township Library on this effort to support our neighbors in need.”
Community members are encouraged to donate new socks of all sizes at either of the following drop-off locations:
Office of Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo, 4621A Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ 08690
Hamilton Township Free Public Library, 1 Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Way, Hamilton, NJ 08619
Assemblyman DeAngelo encourages all residents to take part and spread the word. Every donation, big or small, is critical for those who need it most this winter.
